Flat TVs - All About LCD and Plasma TVs

There has been advances in creating paper thin, flexible LCD displays. Recently Samsung showed it’s flexible LCD prototype ( image below). It is 7 inches across and supports up to 640X480 resolution in color.

This comes after what was released by Philips and E Ink when they released their tablet size, 10.1 inch flexibe LCD in Octorber. This can achieve up to 600X800 resolution with a contrast ratio of 10:1 and four levels of grayscale. This to create an effect like printed ink on paper.

Well hopefully soon we will have products using such flexible displays and I was thinking if it is even possible to stitch together a number of these flexible displays onto clothings and achieve the “invisible man” illusion.
