There are now more than 50 brands of LCD TVs to choose from, including discount models. Stores such as Costco, Sam’s Club, Best Buy and Target are selling the low-priced sets.
How good are they? Consumer Reports just tested nearly 50 LCD TVs, including low-priced sets from names you’ve probably never heard, including Kreisen, Insignia, Viewsonic, Vizio, Olevia, BenQ and Maxent.
